Tours
Going on a tour is a great way to see Parliament. It's not just for MPs and Lords, but for everyone.
I am able to organise tours for up to 25 people, though they I can organise tours for much smaller groups too.
Tours run when Parliament is sitting, which often coincide with school term times. While trips in school holidays are possible, these have to be booked via Ticketmaster for a charge.
Tours run at the following times. Please let me know what time you would prefer when you get in touch with me.
Monday: 9am-12pm full tour
Tuesday: 9am-9.55 am full tour, 10am-12pm House of Lords tour only
Wednesday: 9am - 9.55am full tour, 10am - 12pm House of Lords tour only
Thursday: No tours
Sitting Fridays: 3.30pm - 5.15pm full tour
PMQs
Prime Minister Questions is a chance to see MPs in action asking the Prime Minister about her future plans and past actions. It is a hugely exciting thing to watch, and as such, tickets are like gold dust.
I am issued 6-8 tickets a year which I allocate on a first-come, first-served basis to Tonbridge and Malling residents who request them. I currently operate a waiting list to allocate the tickets, so please let me know if you’d like your name to be added.

School Tours
School tours are a fantastic way for pupils and teachers to see Parliament, and the Education Centre provide brilliant resources to make it a wonderful learning experiences.
Tours need to be booked through the Education Centre directly, and often fill up six months in advance, so do bare this in mind.

Work Experience
Taking on work experience pupils is a great way to give young people an insight into local politics, and a chance to boost their skills. I think it's extremely important to allow all those interested in gaining experience in this environment to be able to do so.
Some of the things work experience students undertake include the following:
Casework, depending on the age and ability of the student
Researching an issue
Taking press-cuttings
Writing press releases
Accompanying the MP to a meeting or event in the House or in the Constituency
Assisting with office duties
Answering queries from constituents, either by phone or by email
